More than a Carpenter

Jesus asks that we be able to give a "right account" for why we believe what we believe. And while we will never argue someone into the faith, it is important to know our faith. This book, More than a Carpenter by Josh McDowell, offers a reasonable account of why Christians believe what they believe.
In sharing the Christian faith with another, I recommend asking questions and not providing answers. Questions: What do you think is the meaning of life? Who do you think Jesus is? Is He more than a carpenter?
And if you don't always have the answer - it is okay to say. "I don't know the answer. What I do know is that I feel different, and I believe that Jesus at the heart of it." Nothing more is needed. And the truth of life is nothing more is necessary than Jesus at the heart of it. So ask the real questions of life and listen to what people have to say. A curious heart asks questions, and the truly curious will always find Jesus - ask Josh.
